Rioja is a privileged region for growing grapes and making top-quality wines, with a unique personality and an exceptional aptitude for ageing.
A visit to different wineries is a must for travelers coming to this region. Some are centuries-old located in ancestral cellars where traditional wine-making systems still predominate, other are, stately and classic, and, of course, there are the newest, designed by some of the best architects in the world.
In addition to this wine and gastronomical wealth, La Rioja is a land rich in fiestas and traditions. The region boast a great heritage and culture that can be experienced in a route through its many and varied wineries, museums, monasteries, castles and historic towns, always enjoying its beautiful scenery and vineyards.
