Last (but one) Deluxe Hotel Just Arrived in Gran Via Madrid

It is official now: the Big Race of Deluxe Hotels in Madrid is at its highest point and all big brands want to place their flag in downtown Madrid. No wonder, after the mediatic announcement of the arrival in 2020 of ultra-deluxe Four Seasons, everyone is looking forward to seeing their star in Madrid stray.

Hyatt arrival is a very good piece of news for those of us dealing with high-quality tourism, no doubt. I just learned about the opening and I rushed to visit the hotel. I loved the room sizes, from standard to suites. Deco is modern with some non-intrusive design touch. The situation could not be any better, right in Gran Via street, and public areas are modern and nicely decorated. Views from the top are impressive, as it could not be different being the hotel placed where it is. I was very pleased when I arrived walking from the other side of the street, to see that they have also erected an immense statue honoring Hunter Diana, an homage to 30s tradition, where most important Gran Via buildings would have an own statue related to Greek Gods. The hotel building is in fact built in the 30s and designer wanted to pay another homage to our history with a very interesting artistic creation: during the hotel renovation, a metallic beam was found. This piece was hit by a mortar during our Civil War (1936-1939) and now it can be admired with a completely new look at the Terrace entrance.
